One of many beautiful Islamic geometric patterns, this one is based in a 16-point star design. There are more than 2,700 cut lines, each one representing three to six cut strokes. In bookmatched European spruce. Counting the grain lines in this plate tells us this wood was alive when the Pilgrims landed in Plymouth.
