My "Modified Dreadnought" is Dreadnought size but designed for the musician who sits when he or she plays. The Mod-D has a defined waist in the manner of a classical ; also the waist is higher up on the instrument, shifting its center of gravity and making it easier to balance. This is a guitar which fingerpickers like. Both Dreadnought and Mod-D have the same air volume (which establishes an important natural resonance frequency).
